ALICE-in-Action is an Information Technology (IT) challenge, jointly organised by the Temasek Informatics & IT School of Temasek Polytechnic and the Infocomm Development Authority (IDA) of Singapore. This is a national competition open to all secondary school students.

ALICE is a simple-to-use tool that familiarises students with programming concepts in a fun and interactive manner. We would like to invite students to participate in this competition and demonstrate their talent and skills in Creating Fun for the World with ALICE.

ALICE-in-Action is part of the National Infocomm Competition 2009 co-ordinated by IDA. Registration is now open. The deadline for project submission is 24 July 2009 (Friday). The Challenge finals will be held on 20 August 2009 (Thursday) at Auditorium 1, Temasek Polytechnic. In this challenge, competitors are required to use ALICE to create an animation about the YOG (Youth Olympic Games). The animation can be an interactive game or an animated story related to the YOG.
